1998 - 1999 Waiting

This tapestry is based on a blurred polaroid photograph of my daughter, an image that recalled my own adolescence; the photograph sparked a memory of that uncertain space between childhood and adulthood, when I waited, holding myself still, fearful of unravelling, gathering my courage to take a step.
